Capital Campaign

The 35,000 square foot facility is complete! We have now moved on to Phase II of construction – our full Teen Center facility is expected to be complete in the Fall of 2011! 

 

The facility is located across the street from the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School, next to MV Community Services, the MV Arena, and the skate park; creating an Island community center with a wide range of activities.

The building includes the following facilities:

Aquatics center

Cardiovascular & Strength Training Center (including a group exercise studio)

Cafe (open to the public)

Teen center

Childwatch and After School program area

Mens, womens and family locker rooms

Outdoor basketball court

Outdoor playground

Plans for future development include:

Multi-purpose field house with indoor, open-air running/walking track (estimated cost $1.3 million)

Two-story Climbing wall
