The Monthly Debit membership is a budget friendly membership option. Reoccurring payments are automatically debited from a debit or credit card, or checking/savings account on the first of each month. The monthly membership continues debiting payment from month to month until a cancellation form is submitted; please see cancellation policy below. An active membership term of 6 months (not including holds) is the minimum commitment that is required for this membership.
Annual and monthly draft memberships can be put on hold for a maximum time frame of three (3) months within a calendar year. Membership must be in good financial standing and program fees paid to be eligible for a hold request. All holds are subject to approval by Y Membership Coordinator. If applicable, holds cannot be applied to times your child is enrolled in Y youth programming receiving the member rate. All Holds begin on the first day of a calendar month and end on the last day of the month during the approved hold period. Membership holds are only accepted in writing via hard copy (Hold Agreement Form) or email to email@example.com. Holds cannot be authorized over the phone or verbally. Memberships that have been on hold cannot cancel until after minimum membership-term is completed.
Members with a monthly draft membership can cancel their membership by submitting written notice (Cancellation Form or email to firstname.lastname@example.org) 30 days prior to the first of the month. For example, if a membership cancellation form is submitted on October 20, payment is processed November 1, and the membership terminates on November 30. Cancellations cannot be authorized over the phone or verbally. All memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. When a membership is canceled, rejoins will be subject to the $75 commitment fee again if the membership is inactive for 3 months or longer. Monthly debit membership requires a minimum 6 month period of being active prior to requesting cancelation (active term cannot include hold). Annual full pay membership are non-refundable unless for medical reasons.
