Summer 2025 Registration will open on Monday February 3rd at 9:00am for Y of MV Family Members. Registration for the public will open Wednesday February 5th at 9:00am.
Thank you for partnering with us to provide your child with an unforgettable summer! Our camp offers a safe, supportive environment where children can develop new skills, build self-confidence, and form lasting friendships. With a fun-focused philosophy, we create a space where children can be themselves while enjoying a caring and nurturing atmosphere.
**All weeks of Camp Terra Mare are full for summer 2025. You can still click the link below to add your camper to our waiting list. It is very difficult for us to know if/when an opening will occur. If a spot opens and you are next on the wait list, you will be contacted via email by our camp registrar. Any general registration questions can also be sent to CampRegistrar@ymcamv.org

Our Y of MV Summer Camp is fully licensed and operates in compliance with all guidelines set by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. We are committed to meeting the needs of today’s youth while upholding the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility throughout our programs. Our leadership team is composed of dedicated professionals who share the YMCA’s mission of building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Our goal is to offer an enriching, safe, and developmentally appropriate experience that fosters positive, lasting memories for your child.
Camp Hours & fees 2025
Ages:
For children entering kindergarten through age 12.
(Note on minimum age: children MUST be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2025 to participate in summer camp.)
Hours:
8:30am-4:00pm | Monday – Friday
Weekly Program Cost:
Members: $415 per week
General Public: $515 per week
$130 per week deposit due at time of registration
Payment for the remaining amount is due by May 5th*
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable
*Please note that this is a change from previous summers. Camp balance is due in full by May 5th.
One time registration fee: $15
Full day/full week only
**To receive member priority registration and pricing for your camper, parent/guardian/grandparent and camper must be on an active family monthly membership (not an individual or short-term/season membership) at the time of registration AND the membership must remain active and in good standing throughout the camp week(s) the child is attending. The best membership option is a one-adult or two-adult family monthly draft. Please email the Camp Registrar at campregistrar@ymcamv.org for additional information as it pertains to camp.

Our Staff
At Camp Terra Mar, we carefully select staff who serve as positive role models. Our team is chosen for their experience working with children, enthusiasm, expertise, and compassionate nature. We embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our campers. All staff members undergo comprehensive pre-camp training, which covers youth development, safety, supervision, program delivery, and the core values of the YMCA

What to bring to camp
- Backpack or sealable bag.
- Lunch with cooler pack and TWO additional snacks for the morning and afternoon.
- Bathing suit & towel (goggles optional). We will provide swim caps or you can pack one.
- Water bottle (filled with water + ice each morning).
- Sunscreen (Please be sure to sunscreen your child EVERY morning before drop off).
*Don’t forget to label your sunscreen!
*Camp staff will assist with sunscreen application throughout the day. - Change of clothes, just in case (shirt, shorts, socks, underwear).
- Bug spray, for nature hikes. Please spray your kiddo with bug spray BEFORE camp.
- Appropriate clothing (no open-toed shoes; rain jacket & rain boots if necessary; hat, long sleeve shirts and long pants for protection from the sun.) Please make sure your child has socks if ICE SKATING is on the schedule for the day.
please note:
- All belongings will be sent home daily to be laundered.
- Soft items and toys from home will not be permitted.
- All items must fit inside the child’s backpack/bag
