Registration opens: August 6th for Members, August 11th for General Public
The After School Program is a family centered program that nurtures the whole child by inspiring academic success, healthy movement, and social and emotional development. We believe our children deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. It makes for confident kids today & contributing and engaged adults tomorrow. Our program is licensed by The Department of Early Education and Care.
Enrollment Packet
Please complete the enrollment packet below and email it to Youth Program Director Jessey Powell, jpowell@ymcamv.org. The enrollment packet below can be used to register for both the Afterschool Program as well as kindergarten orientation half days. Please reach out to Jessey Powell with any questions. Kindergarten Orientation week Sept. 2-12, 12-3pm, thank you!
Please note that enrollment packets will be numbered upon receipt and families will be registered on a first come first serve basis. You are not guaranteed the days that you select in the registration packet. Each family will receive an email once they are registered confirming program days.
2025-2026 Program Information
After School Program runs Monday through Friday, from school dismissal until 6:00pm. Registration for the program requires a commitment of at least 2-days. You can register for as few as 2 days a week or as many as 5 days. Please complete the ASP Enrollment packet and email to jpowell@ymcamv.org

Partnership with Island Grown
We have partnered with Island Grown to bring free and healthy meals to all children on the Island. We will be receiving premade frozen meals every Wednesday. Meat and vegetarian options are available. We are excited for this partnership and can’t wait to see where it takes us. For more information please contact Jessey at jpowell@ymcamv.org
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Bussing is available from school to the Y. Please contact your child’s teacher about taking the bus to the Y once you are registered in the program!
Snack will be provided by the Y in the afternoon.

Move
Fun physical challenges and large motor and team building activities, keep students fit and healthy each day, setting them on a path to: developing healthy habits for life, reducing anxiety and stress, boosting self-esteem. Children participate in physical fitness activities each day, including swimming, basketball, large group games, Yoga, Zumba, and more!
