Fee: Member $57; Non-member $90

Participate in water adjustment activities that

include appropriate water holds, blowing bubbles,

kicking, paddling and jumping in and out of the pool.
Instructor lead parent taught.

For children ages 6 months-36 months.

Saturday 9:00-9:30 am


Children not yet potty trained must wear a swim diaper



(30 minute class; ages 3-5)

pike (ratio 1:5)

For the beginner swimmer who needs
to build skills and confidence in the water

Mon 4:30– 5:00pm

Tues 4:30-5:00pm, 5:05pm

Thurs 5:05-5:35pm,  Sat 9:30-10:00am


eel (ratio 1:5)

For children who can swim independently in a

horizontal position with a floatation device

on their front & back for a minimum of 10 yards;       

must be comfortable putting their faces in the water.

Mon  5:05-5:35pm

Tues 4:30-5:00pm, 5:05-5:35pm

Wed  5:20-5:50pm

Thurs 4:30-5:00pm,  Sat 10:00am-10:30am      


ray (ratio 1:5)

For children who can swim without a floatation

device for part or all of the class time. Children will be introduced to rotary breathing and over arm recovery.

Tues 5:20-5:50pm      Thurs  4:30-5:00pm


starfish (ratio 1:6)

For children who can swim without a floatation
for the entire class on their front and back. Children will work on developing front crawl and backstroke skills.

Wed  4:30-5:00pm        Thurs 5:05-5:35pm



(45 minute class; grades 1-8)

polliwog advanced (ratio 1:7)

For children who can swim with a flotation device, but cannot yet swim one length of the pool non-stop without floatation. Children will work on endurance and floating, and be introduced to the front crawl and back stroke.

guppy (ratio 1:7)

For children who can swim one length of

the pool on their front and back without a floatation or support. Children must also be comfortable with rhythmic breathing.

Mon 5:05-5:50pm    Tues  4:30-5:15pm

Wed 5:05-5:50pm    Thurs 5:20-6:05pm


minnow (ratio 1:9)

Children should be able to float on their

front & back for 1 minute without

assistance, and be able to swim two lengths of the pool of front crawl with rotary breathing and backstroke. Children will be introduced to the breast stroke.

Mon 5:55-6:40pm      Thurs 4:30-5:15pm     


fish (ratio 1:9)

Children must be able to swim 100 yards
nonstop using front crawl & backstroke and
25 yards breast stroke. They will work to refine those strokes and be introduced to butterfly and flip turns.
